Everyone has their own views -here are mine.
Pro-Life Vs. Pro-Choice: I am Pro-Life and find absolutely no reason to KILL can unborn child just because you do not have the self control to keep your leggs closed or can't keep from blaming a baby for your problems! And in the case of Rape I still could not do it! If God put that baby in your belly it was meant to be there no matter the circumstances surrounding its conception! It is not the babies fault its sperm donor took advantage of you do not take it out on him/her!
Baby Wearing: I am pro- Baby Wearing! Mostly because it is a whole lot easier than lugging around a freaking stroller all the time! haha But its also very helpful in keeping a close knit bond between baby and parent or whoever is wearing him/her.
Circumcision: I am going to state this in the simplest terms possible! Barbaric, Archaic, and absurd!! His body his choice stop taking it from him! For more reasons go to www.wholenetwork.org
Adoption: Hello!! There are people out in the world who would gladly take that baby you were going to abort! So yes!! I am pro Adoption to say the least!
Baby Piercing: I am still unsure about this, but I am leaning toward not doing it! Mostly because if I refuse to cut my son why would I stick a needle and a piece of steel through my daughters ear without her consent!
Breast Milk Vs. Formula: I am all about Breast Milk! Breast is Best! I however failed with my son to breastfeed him any longer than a month. I lacked the knowledge or the help to be able to succeed! With my daughter I Breastfed for 3 months exclusively!! Then my body betrayed me and dried up! At this point she was put on donor milk for two months and now she is on formula because of lack of donors in the area for me to get donor milk from.
Spanking: Okay, so I am from the south! Where if you do something bad your get a whippin'! Well, since befriending a few people here in El Paso I have learned that I personally do not prefer this method of discipline! Therfore, as of now I am ANTI-SPANKING!
Co-Sleeping/Bed sharing: I bed shared with my son for most of his first year of life and loved it and I do not care what you say to me I know that I did what was best for him! I also bed shared with my daughter for three months, now she doesn't want to! :( However we still do Co-Sleep with both of our children! They and my husband and I feel much better doing this with our kids then putting them alone in a room upstairs!
Schooling: I personally wanted to home school, however recently Micha has been asking me if he can go to school! So... my baby wants to go to a school with other kids, wants to ride the bus, Its a sad day for mommy when he does go! So to me it is each child is different and I will do what I believe is best for that child!
Vaccinations: Okay, so I am not ANTI or PRO Vaccine. I am just going to do what I believe is best for my child! Micha is fully vaccinated, I never did research I just knew he needed them. However, with Sophia I have a horrible feeling that if I vaccinate her something bad will happen. Therefore, she is not being vaccinated!
Medicating Children: Okay, some may think I am a bad mom but I give gas drops and homeopathic meds whenever I feel the need to do so. I also give my son tylenol when he complains of pains because I want the pain to go away! So yeah I medicate!
Cloth Vs. Disposable Diapers: I am a cloth diapering mama and would never want to go back to disposables again! They are adorable and much better for my kids! So yeah I am all about cloth diapering!
CIO(Cry it out): I am against cry it out! The reason being is I want my child/children to know that no matter what is wrong or may not be wrong I will ALWAYS BE THERE!! No matter how tired, sick, or crappy I feel! They are my babies and I will always do what is best for them and in this case it just may be holding them tight while they sleep!
Okay, well that's my opinion and your welcome to have yours! I do not care what it is I may or may not agree with you but I promise you can not change mine!
