Okay, so I want to touch a little on what has been happening on facebook lately. I am a moderator of Ft Bliss Christian Army Wives Facebook Page and over the past week a member of our page was targeted by someone for what was a terribly cruel "hoax". Somebody got her number off of facebook somehow and called her and told her that her husband was wounded in combat and was being transported to Germany for care. Thankfully we have found out that this is not true, he and his unit are intact and are in fact wherever they are suppose to be. THANK GOD!! Almost immediately after this has happened to one of our members and five other Army Wives there were cruel and unsightly postings on several military pages not just Ft. Bliss pages, they were also on the "CIA" page and on the white house page. I strongly advise that after the happenings on facebook that you remove any personal information about your location, your husbands location, or your phone numbers and addresses. This is for your safety.
Please keep our nation in your prayers. As we are still at war and our soldiers are still fighting for yours and my safety and freedom! GOD bless America!!
Sincerely, a proud supporting American Army Wife!

Proverbs 31- The woman who fears the Lord!
The Woman Who Fears the Lord
10 An excellent wife who can find?
She is far more precious than jewels.
11 The heart of her husband trusts in her,
and he will have no lack of gain.
12 She does him good, and not harm,
all the days of her life.
13 She seeks wool and flax,
and works with willing hands.
14 She is like the ships of the merchant;
she brings her food from afar.
15 She rises while it is yet night
and provides food for her household
and portions for her maidens.
16 She considers a field and buys it;
with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard.
17 She dresses herself with strength
and makes her arms strong.
18 She perceives that her merchandise is profitable.
Her lamp does not go out at night.
19 She puts her hands to the distaff,
and her hands hold the spindle.
20 She opens her hand to the poor
and reaches out her hands to the needy.
21 She is not afraid of snow for her household,
for all her household are clothed in scarlet.
22 She makes bed coverings for herself;
23 Her husband is known in the gates
when he sits among the elders of the land.
24 She makes linen garments and sells them;
she delivers sashes to the merchant.
25 Strength and dignity are her clothing,
and she laughs at the time to come.
26 She opens her mouth with wisdom,
and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.
27 She looks well to the ways of her household
and does not eat the bread of idleness.
28 Her children rise up and call her blessed;
her husband also, and he praises her:
29 “Many women have done excellently,
but you surpass them all.”
30 Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain,
but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.
31 Give her of the fruit of her hands,
and let her works praise her in the gates.
I have been inspired by the Proverbs 31 woman for many years. Recently however I have been striving to be a Proverbs 31 woman.
Sincerly, The so no Proverbs 31 Woman, Nikki
Crawling back to Christ!
Well last weekend Craig and I went on a marriage retreat to Ruidoso NM. We stayed in a wonderful little hotel/condo. It was a great trip. We studied a book called "The Five Love Languages" It was awesome! We learned so much that I believe will help our marriage in a dramatic way.
When Craig and I were teens we were close followers of Christ. Unfortunately, we both have strayed from Christ since Craig joined the military. I am very upset with myself for letting this happen. I am hoping that maybe our retreat will help us get back to our God! Please keep us in your Prayers!

Labor Day Weekend!
Well, I have not been able to write in a while sorry for that. I have been very sick and very sleepy. I am eight weeks pregnant and have not been able to eat or sleep well in about four weeks. Anyhow, my weekend has been an interesting for sure. I have spent actual family time with my husband and son. It has been a while since we were able to do that. Micha has had fun hanging out with his daddy and mommy and not having all his attention taking away. He was able to go to the play ground just Micha and his mommy and daddy. Unfortunately tho the little man jumped off the flower at the playground and rolled his ankle. Poor baby! Now we are on Monday and Craig has to go back to work tomorrow. I am dreading it. I have enjoyed him being home so much that now I really don't want him to go back to work. Now I am going to get off and spend the last hour or so with my kid and husband before bedtime! I hope you all had a wonderful Labor Day Weekend!
