From The Heart Animal Rescue

From The Heart Animal Rescue is a coalition of experienced volunteers, dedicated to caring for the hurt and frightened victims of accident, disease, cruelty and neglect.  We provide life-saving surgeries, medications and special care that other organizations are not able or willing to give.  Once restored to health, we then work diligently to find each animal a permanent loving home. Their mission is to serve the under served - the abandoned, orphaned, abused, injured and special needs dogs which have nowhere else to turn and to provide the love and care they never had until a forever home is found. 

I got involved with From The Heart about four months ago and have completely fallen in love with them. I have witnessed and personally been apart of at least 30 dogs being put into great forever homes in these four short months. I have never seen a group of people love dogs so much in my life. This rescue is a foster based rescue and does not have a shelter at all. It is completely ran by fosters. Which means every animal dog or cat is fostered by someone in a home and is socialized with other animals as well as children of all ages, not to mention when they are in the foster homes they are learning to house train as well as obedience training. I myself have noticed the difference in our dogs at our rescue and dogs at other rescues. Our dogs are much better behaved then the average "shelter dog". 

So anyway, what I am getting at is this...

What am I going to do with the rest of my life?

The question everyone asks eventually! What in the world am I going to do with my life? Well, I think I finally got it! After wasting ten thousand dollars on a education degree that I never finished because I was not interested anymore! oops!
I am going to be a Animal Behavioral Specialist or in laments terms... I am going to be a Dog Trainer! haha I figured it out! The way I see it is like this... and a lot of people probably will not like me stating this, but hey its the honest truth! I do not like my own kids half the time and I definitely do not like other peoples kids for longer than like two hours however, I do love dogs! So, a light bulb has come on in my head! Why not work with dogs and other animals?

So I have an evil plan... or a not so evil one! haha I am going to start out with getting my Dog Training Certificate and from there I will advance into Veterinary Technician Schooling, that is of course if I can bare to go back to school! Of course all of this adds up to something big I promise!! Afterwards I am considering trying to get a job with ASPCA or some other kind of Animal Rescue dealing with Animal cruelty cases and scumbags who think it is okay to abuse their animals, or I may even take a big leap and open a sister program to the local rescue here that has caught my heart!( I plan on writing a blog about them at a later date)

Therefore ladies and gents! This is my evil plan, I will take over the world of Animal Rescue and save all the Animals! (What a woman can dream right!?)
